Workshop Description:

So, where do you find just-in-time professional development opportunities that can help you meet the needs of your students that also align with your professional goals? The Home Base Professional Development System offers both instructor led and self paced courses aligned to the NC Teaching and NC Executive Standards. These learning opportunities will help you meet your professional learning goals as well as expand your knowledge and skills in order to implement the best educational practices to improve teaching and learning.

After this session, you will be able to:

  • Introduce Professional Development Tool
  • Model how to search, register, and withdraw from courses
  • Understand how to create Self-paced and Instructor-led Non-Moodle courses and Self-paced and Instructor-led Moodle courses
  • Create Self-paced and Instructor-led Non-Moodle and Moodle courses
  • Manage resources
  • Review procedures for participants, registration, grades, and credit
